Do
you know the first thing we did when we got back to Melbourne was to check vacancy
details for the September school holidays. That's how much we want to get back.
And do you know that we could "smell" the air the first night we got
back to Melbourne - and it wasn't nice (gag!). We all noticed it. I
miss the starry nights so clear you can see orbiting satellites, and the peace
and quiet. See you in September.

most peaceful and relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings. Relaxing also because
our dog wasn't just tolerated but welcomed; not just at merindah but everywhere

Just a quick
note to let you know that we spent a very relaxing and pleasant week in your Karinya
cottage. The cottage was perfect: clean, spacious and incredibly well equipped.
We also had plenty of wildlife visiting. We were delighted to see echidnas, cockatoos,
rosellas, lorikeets and wood ducks; the dog was excited about all the hares and
the cows calling in the distance.

and grounds are magnificent and the holiday plans made so much easier starting
with the booking, the map directions, and the very extensive list of places to
eat & visit, etc. Brandy & Cedar loved their large paddock and info on
where to swim and also being allowed inside. Hopefully we will all visit you again.

Just
wanted to say how happy we were to stay in Karinya Cottage. We all had a lovely
break and the cottage was so clean (even for a 'fuss-pot' like me!) This was the

We
had so much fun here, so much space to run and play and the nice surroundings
meant we and our Mums had a lot to explore in the week. Our mums found everything
they could possibly want and were very impressed with it all. We listenend closely
as they read us the quotes and funnies about dogs in the back of the Info folder.

most enjoyable and relaxing few days in a tranquil and picturesque bush setting.
Our stay was made all the more enjoyable because of the excellent disabled facilities.
It is the best set up for a disabled person that we have encountered on our travels.
Thank you for the thoughtfulness that has gone into making the cottage so user-friendly.
The fresh flowers were an added welcoming gesture. Tosh immediately found herself
at home. Our stay has gone all too quickly.

Loved
the peace and quiet, the wild life - echidnas, birds, kangaroos and most of all
the dolphins in the lake. Loved all the bush walking, your maps and guides were
great. Enjoyed the cafes in Bairnsdale and Paynesville where they made the dogs
more than welcome. Larrikins even served them with bowls of water. Never seen
so many koalas as on Raymond Island, and the dogs were welcomed at the cafes there
too.

and every possible amenity. The 3 dogs loved their holiday too and appreciated

Just
a quick email to thank you for being such wonderful hosts for our lovely stay
at Merindah Cottages. Ken and I and "Crystal" had a wonderful time and
have already recommended your cotttages to numerous friends who have family pets
they like to take with them on holidays. The cottage was so clean and comfortable
and the outside yard was just marvellous for "Crystal" to stay safe

to let you know we had a great time last week. It was just what we needed, peaceful
and quiet and the beautiful weather was an added bonus. Another week there would
have been better. The facilities were great. We belong to a dog obedience club

Neither
of us were aware of how beautiful the Gippsland Lakes were. We hope to return.
Lady says,"I've never had so much exercise and I also found out what salt
water tastes like. I loved the inside/outside lifestyle with mum and dad. There
should be more people like you who think about the 4-legged humans!"

We
loved the privacy of the cottages and Lenny & Charlie were very grateful for
the all-round fencing that let them "do their stuff" without us tagging
along. The cottages were fabulous with every modern convenience. And very clean!
A great stay that ended all too soon. Sheer pleasure to stay in a place that was
not just "dog tolerant" but where the 4-legged family members were welcomed
like family.

Well,
what a delight! Our first family holiday with our two "boys" (Marvin
& Samity - the Cavalier King Charles spaniels) was more than we dreamed of
- because of the great hospitality. Our cottage was most impressive, comfortable
- with lovely decor and excellent fenced private yard. We have all voted unanimously
to make Merindah Cottages our home away from home. We were inspired by the tourist
information in the cottages, and all the places we had time to try were a huge
success for us and the boys too. We were overwhelmed by how much the area had
to offer: from lakes and beaches, all the surrounding nature, to lakefront places
to dine with our boys. We look forward to our next holiday in July, relaxing in
the picturesque and serene surroundings. Thanks so much for making our stay the
best anywhere in Victoria.

loved everything. The cottage was so well-equipped. The bed is "the best"
(we must ask you the make and model, no kidding). You are both wonderful hosts

Just
a note to thank you for our recent holiday at your cottages. The cottages were
perfect for us with two large mainly 'outside' dogs, as the fencing was secure
enough that we could leave them outside quite happily knowing that they couldn't
escape. They had a fantastic time swimming in the lake and we had a very relaxing
weekend away.

We
had a wonderful weekend, and the weather was perfect. Keely was fascinated with
the cows & the horses, and she even touched noses with one of the horses.
Quite an experience for her!! We walked for miles (or should I say kilometres
now). Our favourite walk was along the shore at the end of Lake Victoria Rd with
the walk along Jones Rd & the forest our next favourite. Thank you so much
for your hospitality. We loved the cottage & look forward to coming again.

arrived. It was such a relief to find an enclosed back-yard that was big and secure.
The surroundings were beautiful and private. There was also more than enough information
from the folder and from yourselves. All very much appreciated. The kitchen was
excellently stocked. And all the attention to detail, fabulous (especially the
flowers)! Thank-you so much for your generosity and kindness and looking out for
Nevada. If we were to holiday again in the area we would not think of staying
anywhere else. Your hospitality was second to none. We thank you and Nevada sends
